Responsibilities of the Committee for Academic Affairs

Members of the committee for academic affairs are elected by the Faculty Assembly. As a rule, the committee meets once a semester and deliberates on the academic schedules and offerings of the different degree programs of the faculty. In this context, it discusses draft proposals to be submitted to the Office of the Dean and the Faculty Assembly regarding planning and organizing course offerings as well as assigning instructors to individual courses.

The committee for academic affairs numbers three members from the group of professors and four student members. It is chaired by the vice dean for academic affairs.
