Registration Nuts & Bolts

Before the semester starts, students need to register for all courses they would like to attend during the semester. Registering by itself does not require students to participate in the end-of-semester examinations.

Many of the program's modules include tutorials or labs in addition to the lectures. If two labs or tutorials are offered, you must register for one of them.

By registering, students create their own individual time schedules and need to make sure themselves that there are no scheduling conflicts.

Registration Timing

Registration can only take place during the designated course registration period. On our website, you will find the relevant dates via the Dates & Deadlines page under Semester, Orientation & Registration Dates & Deadlines. Please note that no registration is possible after the registration period.

As a rule, students of advanced semesters already register for classes at the end of the previous semester. The registration dates are officially announced once they have been determined.

First-semester students do their course registration on the first day of classes during the student orientation.
