Laboratories

The computer science programs (applied computer science, media computer science and the master's program in computer science) jointly operate a number of labs that each have a different focus. The labs cover systems-related topics from wireless local area networks to distributed systems, systems programming and home automation to software engineering and application-oriented issues in digital image processing and visualization, computer vision and mixed reality, mobile applications and enterprise content management.

The different subject areas conduct research and development projects with funds from RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, of the Land Hesse and with federal funds as well as third-party funded research in cooperation with enterprises and research institutions. In the context of classes, of master's theses and as paid graduate research assistants, master's students have the opportunity of participating in these research projects as well.
