QIS stands for: Qualitätssteigerung der Hochschulverwaltung im Internet durch Selbstbedienung (Higher Education Administration Quality Improvement via Online Self Service)

The online portal of RheinMain University of Applied Sciences (HIS-QIS) allows students to access their examination results online. Via QIS, students can also print certificates of completed course components and grade records. Access is via your HDS (Hochschul Directory Service) account provided by the IT Center.

Grade Synopses

The grade synopses that can be accessed via QIS include all graded course components (of all semesters), both of passed and of failed course components and course components for which students are registered only.

Transcript of Completed Modules & Graded Course Components

Under the heading "Prüfungsverwaltung/Prüfungsbescheinigungen" (examination administration/examination certificates), students can access certificates that list completed course components and print or save them as pdf files as needed. The document includes successfully completed results only and serves as a course component completion certificate.

Further Functionalities

Under "Allgemeine Verwaltung," students can update their contact data such as mailing and e-mail addresses and phone numbers.

In addition, QIS allows students to print other important documents such as certificates of semesters studied for financial aid (BAföG) purposes or enrollment verification certificates.

Further functionalities such as examination registration may be added.
