The Faculty of Design – Computer Science – Media has about 1,800 students and is comprised of several programs:

• Computer Science (B.A. and diploma)
• Computer Science (M.A.)
• Interior Design (diploma)
• Communications Design (B.A. and diploma)
• Media Management (B.A. and diploma)
• Media & Design Management (M.A.)
• Media Computer Science (B.A.)

The faculty assembly comprises members from all programs who deliberate and decide all important questions concerning teaching, research, staffing, budget, equipment and facilities at the faculty.

Each program is presided by a program head. The program heads and their colleagues from the individual degree programs discuss all program-related academic and organizational issues in each program's program committee. All resolutions and petitions resolved on in the program committees can be submitted to the faculty assembly.  

Further committees and designees that clarify issues that are within the scope of the faculty's self-government, prepare decision-making and submit relevant materials to the faculty assembly for deliberation and voting are the flollowing:

• Examination Board
• Committee for Academic Affairs
• Hiring Committees

In all self-governing bodies of the university, constructive student participation by student representatives is welcome and important. Student participation in self-governing bodies ensures that student interests are represented and the conditions for studying can be improved.
