Responsibilities

The examination board has the following responsibilities:

• working out of regulations (program regulations, examination regulations, internship regulations)
• preparing, scheduling and administering all examinations in the communication design program
• administration of forms (applications, degree certificates, verifications, examination minutes and other documents)
• admissions and approval credit points and internships (admission to graded course components and final examinations, degree certificates, approval of transfer credits from other domestic and international institution of higher education, approval of internships, written documentation etc.)
• appointment of examination committees
• organization of informational events about the examinations
• advising on all examination-related issues

Student Advising

RheinMain University of Applied Sciences offers students a number of different types of advising.

Program-Specific Student Advising

For the communications design program, the instructors are in charge of the program-specific student advising. Among other things, program-specific student advising is the place to

• clarify questions about the program and course content
• get approval for transferring credit points that were earned at other institutions of higher education
• have your level assessed when switching programs
• have your internship(s) approved
• have your aptitude test results from another institution of higher education approved
• get information about the aptitude test and portfolio consultations
